I refer to the article "PKFZ: 'Gov't will pay the RM700mil to bondholders'".
This is highly ridiculous and unthinkable. The PKFZ issue, the legal dispute between PKFZ and Kuala Dimensi and the action to freeze whatever accounts involved have been highlighted so many times. And now the government gives the assurance that it will pay what is due to PKFZ's bond holders, saying it has a commitment to the bond holders and therefore it has to fulfill it.
Let me boldly remind the government, equally you have the commitment and obligation to ensure the return of RM1.64 billion to our tax payers.Surely, but truly this commitment to the rakyat and taxpayers is far more important than any other consideration and thus it should supercede other decisions. May I appeal to our prime minister that PKA's obligation is not towards bond holders, but towards the poor rakyat and the tax payers. This is a very serious issue and can create very adverse damage to BN's government.
Dear prime minister, I hope you are able to digest the importance and seriousness of this issue.
