REVOKE TAJUDDN’S AMBASSADORIAL APPOINTMENT IMMEDIATELY

20th May 2022.

PRESS STATEMENT BY:-
TAN SRI DATUK ROBERT PHANG MIOW SIN.
JUSTICE OF THE PEACE.
CHAIRMAN – SOCIAL CARE FOUNDATION

Many of the Rakyat agree with Patriot’s verdict on the appointment of Tajuddin.  It must be made known as to why such a controversial figure like Tajuddin, be appointed to such an esteemed and honourable position.  Surely but truly there are many more highly qualified and good character persons for the YAB PM to consider seriously.

Majority of the Rakyat do not question YAB PM’s authority but perhaps definitely a better candidate should be considered.  It has been said that Tajuddin’s appointment bears a lot of untold stories.  Please do bear in mind, even as the YAB PM has assured that Indonesia has welcomed this appointment, many of the Rakyat think otherwise.

The pride and dignity of our beloved country will question and many think upon this appointment.  The public consent and worry is slowly growing with an overwhelming protest of the appointment.  The veteran UMNO lawmaker Tajuddin has often made the news but mostly for the wrong reasons especially his antics, whether in or out of the Parliament. The most recent being the callous and ridiculous response to the Kelana Jaya LRT collision which caused many of the LRT patrons to be injured, some seriously.

Please take note that Patriot is joined by numerous disapproval including former Bar Council and Bersih leader Ambiga Sreenevasan, which in turn has stated that Tajuddin’s appointment was a political move to reward Tajuddin for his hand in keeping a government with a tenuous majority in power.  Ha, Ha, nothing short of an explanation is mandatory to the Rakyat.

To put it in prospective, the appointment of Tajuddin as our country’s Ambassador to Indonesia is nothing less than a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT AND AN UTTER DISGRACE.
