STOP IT- ANNUAR MUSA

3rd January 2017.

PRESS STATEMENT BY:-
TAN SRI DATUK ROBERT PHANG MIOW SIN.
JUSTICE OF THE PEACE.
CHAIRMAN – SOCIAL CARE FOUNDATION

I refer to a news article published by FMT today being “UMNO WARNED AGAINST ESCALATING ROW WITH ROYALTY” by Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

With regrets, to note that Annuar Musa has again made a very uncalled for allegation, he has not done enough homework on matters he chose to expose namely the spat between Tuanku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Annuar Musa.  UMNO must realize should it escalate, will impact on voting patterns by the Rakyat in GE14.

I do not understand as such a senior politician like Annuar Musa keeps on making really silly mistakes.  The last episode concerning BERSIH’s Maria Chin – Annuar Musa said it that she was connected to CIA movement.  My humble self is shocked to read such a statement from the UMNO Information Chief.  I challenged him to produce any evidence to substantiate his allegations.  If he fails to do so, please SHUT UP and KEEP QUITE – needless to say, he has not responded

Our country is full of rumours and gossips.  As Information Chief of UMNO is a responsible post, all the more should he wishes to carry out speeches and articles, he should do so after careful and precise research.  Please be responsible Annuar Musa.  I begin to ponder whether his actions are so motivated by political gain as the General Election 14 is around the corner.  If you have facts, fair enough if not you are doing more damage to yourself more so and the ruling government.  I appeal to PM YAB Dato’ Sri Najib to guide him.  If necessary, to warn him on issuing very sensitive allegations more so without proof, definitely a liability to UMNO, government and Malaysia.

I salute Tuanku Mahota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim for his simple but clear analytical statement, giving back the historical structure of the Johor State.  Definitely TMJ, who is the owner of the Johor Darul Ta’zim team is very much concerned of the allegation as he has also rightly pointed out, the state of Johor is the stronghold of the ruling party today.  The day for people to cast their votes is edging close, so do not stir up a hornet’s nest because there will be consequences. Do not be a liability to your own party, Annuar Musa was told.

Walk the talk, TMJ tells Najib

Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim told Johorean football fans that he had informed Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to implement policies and not just talk.
This, he said, was after he expressed his concerns about the country's political stability to the premier.
Recounting his meeting with Najib, Tunku Ismail said he also told the PM that he was worried about what will happen to the country in the future, for despite their differences of opinion, the federal government and the royalty are interlinked.
"If you were to pinch my left thigh, my right thigh will feel it too."
He added that he had also asked to know about present government policies, and gave the PM a piece of his mind about the matter.
"Then I advised him to implement whatever it is, and not just talk. And from now on, its time to move forward," he said.
His comments were detailed in a post on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page describing a dialogue session he held with Johor Darul Takzim football fans and the media yesterday.
The crown prince had met with Najib in August, at the latter's official residence, Seri Perdana, in Putrajaya.
Meanwhile, Tunku Ismail said Johor is independent and neutral, and that he speaks out for the people, not because anyone is his enemy.
"Don't only think of yourself. I'm sad, (and) as His Royal Highness the Sultan of Johor stated lately, most politicians nowadays are busy pursuing more power.
"They sacrifice for power more than they do for the people."
Unlike other royalty, who prefer to keep a low profile, Tunku Ismail has a penchant for taking potshots at the federal government, mostly on Facebook.
He was previously embroiled in a public feud with Tourism and Culture Minister Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz who criticised the prince for being too vocal, especially in remarks he made against the government.

SALUTATION TO TUNKU ISMAIL SULTAN IBRAHIM, TMJ

8th June 2016.

PRESS STATEMENT BY:-
TAN SRI DATUK ROBERT PHANG MIOW SIN.
JUSTICE OF THE PEACE.
CHAIRMAN – SOCIAL CARE FOUNDATION

Many of us have read your article over the teenage who was jailed over rude TMJ remarks.

It is definitely not our culture at all to utter bad remarks against our elder more so not to our rulers.  This is a very traditional and valued practice which has to be ensured to be carried down from generation to generation.  Definitely the mistake by this teenager is over board, however taking into consideration on humanitarian grounds and by serving this one (1) year jail sentence will definitely create a dangerous trauma on this young lad.  This then can be a life changing episode and may require a long time to heal.  It is definitely not a matter of sweeping things under the carpet and we are not doing anything good to rehabilitate this young man.

If our good TMJ is prepared to forgive such an issue, I think all consideration must be given.  The immediate and right thing to do is to arrange for a face to face dialogue with TMJ.  TMJ has definitely demonstrated a true example of a GOOD LEADER AND RULER OF OUR  NATION.

My heartiest salutation to you, TMJ.
